The Origin of Anthropogenic Global Warming Fraud Introduction

Epigraph quotes: The Big Lie; Global Warming as Social Engineering

Climate Change is the greatest threat that human civilization has ever faced.

Angela Merkel, German Chancellor

Humanity is sitting on a time bomb. If the vast majority of the world’s scientists are right, we have just ten years to avert a major catastrophe that could send our entire planet’s climate system into a tail-spin of epic destruction involving extreme weather, floods, droughts, epidemics and killer heat waves beyond anything we have ever experienced- a catastrophe of our own making.  I think we ought to have an immediate freeze on CO2 emissions.

Former Vice President Al Gore, from “An Inconvenient Truth” and Congressional testimony

Settled-Science-600-LAThe planet is on course for a catastrophe. The existence of Life itself is at stake.

IPCC Principal Research Scientist

By the end of this century, climate change will reduce the human population to a few breeding pairs surviving near the Arctic.

Sir James Lovelock, chemist, author of The Revenge of Gaia

Man-made global warming has a potential to kill everybody.

Michael Bloomberg,

This is an emergency…  It’ll make world war look like heaven.

Presidential candidate John Edwards

Our planet is just five years away from climate change catastrophe- but can still be saved, according to a new report.

The World Wildlife Fund for Nature, 2007

We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.

Timothy Wirth, President of the United Nations Foundation

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill.

The Club of Rome (think tank), The First Global Revolution, 1973

It doesn’t matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true.

Paul Watson, co-founder of Green Peace

The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States. We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the US. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are.

Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund

No matter if the science of global warming is all phony… Climate change provides the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.

Christine Stewart, former Canadian Minister of the Environment

Epigraph quotes: The Truth

CartoonCoolingandWarmingThe Sun, not a harmless essential trace gas (CO2), drives climate change. Someone should tell these people the globe has been cooling.”

Physicist Dr. John Blethen (Heliogenic.blogspot.com)

The Global warming scam, with the (literally) trillions of dollars driving it, has corrupted so many scientists, and has carried the APS (American Physical Society) before it like a rogue wave.  Global warming is the greatest and most successful pseudoscientific fraud I have seen in my long life.

Dr. Harold Lewis, Emeritus Professor of Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara

The ‘global warming scare’ is being used as a political tool to increase government control over American lives, incomes and decision making.  It has no place in the Society’s activities.

NASA Astronaut/Geologist and Moonwalker Jack Schmitt who flew on the Apollo 17 mission. formerly U.S. Geological Survey

The real causes of climate change lie in the unevenness of the sun’s radiation, in the precession (amendment of the rotational axis) of the earth, in the instability of the ocean currents in the periodic desalination and salinity of surface waters of the Arctic Sea and the other. The main causes of which are the solar activity and the luminosity. The higher these parameters, the higher the temperature. The highest point of the warming has already occurred. The low point phase of solar activity, with a sharp decline in temperature will be accompanied; against the year 2041 is expected. The cool climate is at least 50 to 60 years.

Russian scientist Dr. Oleg Sorochtin of the Institute of Oceanology at the Russian Academy of Sciences

In the ’70s it was global cooling that was the scare – by many of the same people who are pushing warming now, using models that are not even close to reality.

Astrophysicist Dr. Dennis Hollars

Earth has cooled since 1998 in defiance of the predictions by the UN-IPCC….The global temperature for 2007 was the coldest in a decade and the coldest of the millennium…which is why ‘global warming’ is now called ‘climate change.

Climatologist Dr. Richard Keen of the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at the University of Colorado

Controlling carbon is kind of a bureaucrat’s dream.  If you control carbon you control life… One of the things the scientific community is pretty agreed on is those things (carbon taxes, etc.) will have virtually no impact on climate no matter what the models say.  So the question is do you spend trillions of dollars to have no impact?

Future generations will wonder in bemused amazement that the early 21st century’s developed world went into hysterical panic over a globally averaged temperature increase of a few tenths of a degree, and on the basis of gross exaggerations of highly uncertain computer projections combined into implausible chains of inference, proceeded to contemplate a roll-back of the industrial age.

MIT meteorology Professor Richard Lindzen

The new green left (environmentalist) propaganda reminds me of the old red left (communist) propaganda. The dirty word is now carbon rather than capitalism. The game is simply to intrude and control everything. How much will the carbon tax be for each of us to breathe?

Introduction by webmaster (Dr. Eric T. Karlstrom, Emeritus Professor of Geography, California State University, Stanislaus)

Dr. Eric Karlstrom

When I finished my Ph.D. dissertation in physical geography in 1981 at the University of Calgary, I could then just barely see the dim outlines of the “global warming train” coming down the tracks from the distant horizon.   At the time, I judged that the increasing focus on climate research was a good thing because it would direct much needed funding to worthy scientific investigations.  As I began my university teaching career (also in 1981) at Northern Arizona University in my hometown of Flagstaff, it seemed that a golden age of progress in the young field of paleoclimatology (study of climates of the past) was immanent.  It was an exciting time.  So, in addition to carrying a very heavy teaching load at the university, I joined the American Quaternary Association (AMQUA), a loose-knit but high-powered interdisciplinary group of scholars from America and Canada, and became its Treasurer.  At AMQUA meetings, I was privileged to meet some of the very top scholars in a variety of climate-related academic fields.

One of the mini “scientific revolutions” occurring at that time was that after several decades of being ignored by “the scientific consensus,” the Milankovitch (astronomic cycles) theory of climate change was finally considered “proven” by correlation of dated-terrestrial and ocean sediment sequences that carried a distinct “climate signal”  (Kukla, 1977; Shackleton and Opdike, 1973).  The idea of astronomically-determined climate cycles driving the major glacial-interglacial fluctuations of the last 2-3 million years (aka “The Ice Age”) seemed now to be widely accepted by the scientific community.

What I did not realize at that time was that in the corridors of power in Washington, D.C. and elsewhere, the young science of climatology had already been targeted for exploitation and cooption because it provided a useful means of advancing political-economic objectives.   Think tanks such as “The Report from Iron Mountain” and the “Club of Rome,” political bodies such as the United Nations, various branches of military/intelligence, and Wall Street corporations had, by then, decided that climate “research” could be used to advance “globalist” political-economic objectives.  Indeed, the “Report From Iron Mountain” concluded that the “perception” of a looming environmental catastrophe could used as a substitute for war, in the future, as the organizing principle of society:

Economic surrogates for war must meet two principal criteria.  They must be “wasteful,” in the common sense of the word, and they must operate outside the normal supply-demand system…. It may be… that gross pollution of the environment can eventually replace the possibility of mass destruction by nuclear weapons as the principal apparent threat to the survival of the species….

The Report from Iron Mountain on the Possibility and Desirability of Peace (1963) by “The Special Study Group,” reportedly members of a secret Pentagon think tank (thought to be Rand Corporation) that included Harvard Economist John Kenneth Galbraith

In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill.

The earth has a cancer and the cancer is man.… The real enemy, then, is man himself.… The resultant ideal sustainable population is hence more than 500 million but less than one billion.

The Club of Rome (think tank), The First Global Revolution, 1973

I did not know it when I began my academic career, but the pursuit of scientific truth in the fields of climatology and paleoclimatology had already been subordinated to the political and financial objectives of international financiers, and their many minion organizations.

In this manner, the field of climate science was turned into “pseudo-science” (Ball, 2014).  The primary mechanisms of this cooption included U.N.-sponsored state funding, censorship and control of climate scientists and climate research through a system of rewards and punishments and a network of biased journal editors, and perhaps most importantly, computer modeling.  In computer models, conclusions depend exclusively upon the assumptions programmed into the models.  Thus, as computer analysts say; “Garbage In, Garbage Out.”  The main assumptions programmed into these elaborate and expensive climate models include:

1) there was no significant climate change during the approximately 4.6 billion years prior to advent of the fossil fuel era (about 1850), and

2) carbon dioxide is the main climate driver.

Both of these assumptions are ludicrous and fallacious and were long ago disproven by the vast preponderance of scientific research.  Indeed, the preponderance of research indicates that climates of the past have varied radically, and, often, cyclically, and that the trace-gas, carbon dioxide, plays a negligible role in actually “driving” earth temperatures.

As Dr. Reid Bryson, father of modern scientific climatology, stated:

You can go outside and spit and have the same effect as doubling carbon dioxide… All this argument is the temperature going up or not, it’s absurd. Of course it’s going up. It has gone up since the early 1800’s, before the Industrial Revolution, because we’re coming out of the Little Ice Age, not because we’re putting more carbon dioxide into the air.

“Garbage In, Garbage Out” partly explains why the many government-sponsored climate models have all yielded erroneous forecasts (aka projections and scenarios).

Thus, the cooption and corruption of climate science has involved a collision of interests the result of which is that standard scientific investigative procedures were skewed by more powerful political/economic forces, i.e., the “Power of the Purse.”  This dynamic was to have a profound and negative impact on my own career, as well, I’m sure, as that of many of my colleagues, including my father, Dr. Thor N.V. Karlstrom.

The roots of the human-caused global warming fraud are deep and varied.   They can be found within:

1)  the elite-sponsored eugenics movement, another pseudo-science, of the late 19th and 20th centuries,

2) position papers by think tanks such as “The Report from Iron Mountain” and “The Club of Rome,” that call for the environmental movement to be controlled and utilized as a substitute for war (see articles and power point presentations in this section).

3) the history of elite cooption, corruption, and even “weaponization” of entire academic disciplines.  Examples include creation of the pseudo-science of eugenics and the cooption of the disciplines of psychology and psycho-analysis by figures such as Sigmund Freud, Sir John Rawlings Reese, and Ewen Cameron, the field of anthropology as initiated by Franz Boas, the field of sociology by the German Frankfurt School of Social Research, and even the field of modern music by Frankfurt School and Tavistock Institute “social scientists” such as Theordore Adorno, etc.  (See Macdonald, 2008 as well as “Mind Control: History and Applications” in my 911nwo.com website).  In this manner, the global warming scare appears to have been concocted as just one more of a long series of propaganda tools used by social engineers at Tavistock and affiliated agencies to manipulate and instill “trauma-based mind control” on an unwary and uninformed public.

4) The need for a cover story and funding mechanism for governments (particularly the U.S. and U.K.), the UN, NATO, etc., to advance top-secret geoengineering experiments and projects, the real goals of which include weather warfare, depopulation, and mass mind control.

5) elite (by the UN and affiliated organizations) cooption of the environmental movement, with global warming as its centerpiece, to be used as a scare tactic to force nations to accept international (UN) control of all economic, and indeed, all human activity…. as well as global government as codified in United Nations Agenda 21 (Agenda for the 21st Century, aka sustainable development).  Agenda 21 (now UN Agenda 2030) is the “soft-law” blueprint, covertly adopted now by nearly all nations, for the UN to takeover of all human activity and resources and become the prototypical world government.

6) finally, the various carbon trading schemes provide one more mechanism by which the elite (Al Gore, Maurice Strong, Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, Chairman of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), as well as Goldman Sachs, innumerable other corporate conglomerates and cartels, the Rockefeller and Rothschild families, etc.) to make trillions in profits from the control and sale of “carbon credits” to be regulated and taxed by the UN, various cooperating governments, etc.

More and more it is becoming clear that those who support the so-called “New World Order” or World Government under the United Nations have adopted global environmentalism as a basis for the dissolution of independent nations and the international realignment of power.

Dixy Lee Ray, former chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission, 1993, (Environmental Overkill: Whatever Happened to Common Sense?)

The emerging “environmentalization” of our civilization and the need for vigorous action in the interest of the entire global community will inevitably have multiple political consequences.  Perhaps the most important of them will be a gradual change in the status of the United Nations.  Inevitably, it must assume some aspects of a world government…..

Mikhail Gorbachev, Former Premier of the Soviet Union, State of the World Forum and co-author (with Maurice Strong and Stephen Rockefeller, of the Earth Charter

Regionalism must precede globalism.  We foresee a seamless system of governance from local communities, individual states, regional unions and up through to the United Nations itself.

Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse?  Isn’t it our responsibility to bring that about?
